Away from government service, Gary developed a second life behind the camera — experimenting with toy cameras, antique lenses, and alternative methods to create images that feel distinctive, unexpected, and emotionally charged.
His photography has appeared in numerous art exhibitions in St. Louis, Detroit, and New York City. Rather than limiting himself to conventional photographic rules, Gary has explored unusual equipment, imperfect lenses, altered perspectives, and creative processes that transform familiar subjects into original works of art.
